The seeds and grains used in each loaf are hand picked and soaked in water before baking to allow for maximum nutritional benefit and digestibility . Wholesome unbleached flour is blended to Bäckerhaus Veit specifications, and our dough is given the time and temperature needed to develop before it is patiently hand shaped, cut, proofed and baked.
Since the first Bäckerhaus Veit bakery opened its doors just outside of Stuttgart, Germany, in 1927, baking methods have remained relatively unchanged.
